快速成型技术是基于离散/堆积成型原理,根据三维CAD模型,按一定厚度把CAD模型进行分层,将三维模型变成厚度很薄的二维平面模型。再将二维模型进行数据处理,加入加工参数,在数控系统控制下以平面加工方式连续加工出每个薄层,并使之粘结而成形。
Rapid prototyping technology is based on the principle of discrete/stacked molding. According to the 3D CAD model, the CAD model is layered according to a certain thickness to turn the 3D model into a 2D plane model with very thin thickness. There are many process methods for rapid prototyping. All rapid prototyping methods are used to manufacture parts layer by layer. The difference is that each method uses different materials and different bonding methods. Typical rapid prototyping technologies include light curing rapid prototyping (SLA), melt deposition (FDM), laser powder sintering (SLS) and laminated contour (LOM).


与传统的处理方式相比,快速成型技术在速度性、集成化、适用性、可调整性和自动化等方面具有明显优势。比如:快速成型技术实现了完全的自动化成型,只需操作员输入相关的参数,在不需要过多干涉的情况下,就可以实现整个过程的自动运转。
